Having stayed at Pachamaya River was a delightful experience, offering a good blend of quality and convenience. the pristine, brand-new facilities were meticulously maintained, providing a refreshing contrast to the surrounding natural beauty. the "triangular room" boasted unparalleled views, capturing the essence of the picturesque river and lush landscapes. the proximity to Semuc Champey, a mere 15-minute walk away, was a major highlight, with complimentary transfers from Lanquín further enhancing accessibility. Although the shared bathroom in the private rooms may not have been the epitome of luxury, the value proposition was evident. the rooms were functional, albeit somewhat noisy due to the jungle setting, while the additional beds accommodated our group effectively. the staff's attentive service and willingness to assist with various needs added to the overall positive experience. The excellent location by the river and close proximity to key attractions like the park and cave significantly added to the hotel's appeal. the delicious meals offered at reasonable prices, complemented by uplifting happy hours and live music, further emphasized the value provided.
